RRS James Clark Ross

jr16005 Southern Ocean

7.5 weeks aboard the RRS James Clark Ross (Mar-May 2017) recovering moorings deployed on JR310, deploying Autosub Long Range (aka Boaty McBoatface), and making CTD and VMP measurements. Besides the science work, we also saw a wide range of charistmatic megafauna (whales and penguins) around Antarctica.
